Denise is set to make her first appearance in the BBC soap on Thursday night as Karin Smart, a savvy businesswoman who gets involved with serial seducer Max Branning.
And despite it just being a guest appearance role at the moment, the actress, who is a single mother to four-year-old daughter Betsy, has said that she could get used to playing the part.
The 40-year-old told the Daily Telegraph: "It would be a bit of a juggling act, but I would like to do more."
Denise, who has been asked to appear in the soap before and turned it down, has said that she believes shows like EastEnders help young people nowadays to tackle real-life issues.
